Bruce sofa

"In this project, we have taken a new look at some of the iconic themes of the past in Zanotta sofas. Bruce echoes and modernises the Milano sofa (designed by De Pas-D'Urbino-Lomazzi in 1982), with a seat formed of a single cushion with special stitching to divide it into different sections. Another distinctive element are the aluminium feet, which are set back from the corners to create the effect of "suspension" of the whole sofa structure, emphasising its weightless appearance. We wanted to create a highly modular sofa to become a synonym of relaxation and lightness". The new 2013 Zanotta collection opens with the new modular sofa system Bruce, designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba. These elegant and comfortable sofas have a double layer of padding and feet in die-cast polished aluminium alloy or glossy black nickel-plated. The series includes: monobloc sofas, modular elements, lounge chairs and pouf. The frame is made of steel, with elastic strips suspension and Dacron Du Pont/graduated polyurethane padding. The seat cushions are in Dacron Du Pont/polyurethane and the backrest in 100% pure goose feathers, with removable leather or fabric covers. A matching series of decorative cushions can be used to personalise your living room.
