Casamilano
Casamilano was founded in 1998 by Anna, Carlo and Elena Turati, making its debut at the Milan Furniture Fair in April of that year. It has since developed a selected distribution of more than 700 stockists worldwide.
Much more than a contemporary furniture collection, Casamilano is about filling the home with a sense of comfort. Its high quality and carefully considered design create an interior that is based on instinct and passion, rather than logic or fashion.
The Turati family have generations of experience in furniture design. In 1929, grandfather Carlo founded a small furniture company with his sons. As styles changed in the 1960s, son Giuseppe charted a new course by creating Tisettanta, in collaboration with world renowned architects.
Giuseppe's daughter Anna now drives the company’s creative vision, while Carlo takes care of the business. Casamilano collaborates with respected international designers carefully chosen for each project, including Paola Navone, Roberto Lazzeroni, Studio Opera and many more.
By combining different colours, materials and proportions, Casamilano produces unique, crafted objects for contemporary homes.
Rigorously made in Italy, the furniture’s striking shapes complement materials such as natural and stained oak or ash, matte lacquers, chromed steel and cast aluminium. A range of leathers and fabrics create a stylish finish to upholstered furniture.
